Lychakiv Cemetery

Our flat is located within walking distance of Lychakiv cemetery - a historic Polish-Ukrainian cemetery.
Ella was on camera control as we strolled the rows of notable tombs of Poles and Ukrainians.
She was a fabulous photographer - and is excited to take you on her first photo-journalism essay ... so here is Lychakiv through the eyes of a 4 1/2 year old ...
She loved the angels.

And, in true adolescent spirit, she focused more on the colorful flowers than on the graves.
It was a beautiful, reverent, place to wander and appreciate life and the area we currently call home.
And if that photo-tour didn't sell you on this attraction, perhaps knowing that Lonely Planets 2011 Best In Travel Book recommends Lychakiv Cemetery for it's "hours of fascinating wandering."
