January this and that

January 2012 was mild - and we enjoyed family walks and park dates while Daddy was with us.

This is the Place! 

And, of course, when the weather changed, we enjoyed that too!

Grandma Susie and I took the girls to hear the Salt Lake Youth Symphony perform at the Tabernacle...

What we didn't know at the time was that only children 8 and older are allowed in the Tabernacle, so we watched from a window in the press-room.

To pass the time while Benj was in Ukraine we took a little trip down to AZ to see "Pack" and "Lee Lee."
Ella and Anne had their first horse back riding lessons...

And each day we would take bunches of carrots to feed the neighbor's horses on our morning walks...

We went to Disney's Toy Story on Ice...

Spending time in the sun in the pool, ...

Enjoying food, cooking, and bonding time with Great-Grandma Darling ...
