Halloween and Such

Ella has been busy showing Anne how to dominate the mobile. Little Anne Catherine keeps growing. Anne did allow us a brief "in costume" Halloween photo opportunity: our little flower with friends Juliet (lady bug) and Eden (Tinkerbell). Ella (again) refused to dress up, but enjoyed the food and company at Debbie's.
I love library story time, and fortunately while my mom was in town we were able to go; I forgot how easy it is when you just have one child to take care of and someone else is entertaining the other! Of course the highlight of library time is seeing Samuel... yes, Benj got a little jealous when he saw that picture. Playing at the library: Thanks mom for having so much fun with us. Since you left, we've been consoling ourselves by eating the yummy Trader Joe's food you stocked us up with!

Ella turns 2

Princess Ella waiting for friends to arrive to help her celebrate toddler-hood.
Marshall Nielsen provided the musical entertainment and got the party started.
Ella did not really like her costume, and soon changed into regular clothes. (notice the $2 Ella bills, thanks Benj)
We had an "apple-hunt" and then made Carmel apples with real apples.
We also stamped shirts and onesies with apples.
Then we sang 'happy birthday' and ate apple pie.
Hey Samuel, I have an idea: next year for Halloween I'll be Gabriella and you can be Troy Bolton.
Ella had great help opening presents.
(Psst, London. When this is done, lets go have some real fun and play 'ring around the rosie').
Anne was a gem the whole party and didn't fuss at all.
new kitchen, new buggy, new tent, new clothes, new tricycle and more!
Thanks everyone for making Ella's #2 so fun!

While you were away...

Dear Goggy,
Welcome back! We really missed you. While you were away we went to Lemos pumpkin farm. Ella pet the goats, rode the train with friends, and decided pony rides are not all they're cracked up to be. I slept most of the time.
We went to the Oakland Temple too. You know how Ella gets jealous when she sees you holding me? Well, she is the same way when Grandpa Low Low (or Packa, as Ella would say) holds me... so Packa did a lot of this.
I'm not tattling, but I think you should know, Ella ate Popsicles for breakfast, cookies for lunch, and cupcakes for dinner. We also ate a lot of pizza . Ella kept Packa on the move with hourly tricycle rides, park dates, the San Mateo, and Millbrae library story time. Samuel came to play and Packa brought home Happy Meals, I didn't get any though.
I have a new trick too - as of Friday, October 17 I can officially roll over. No one has seen me do it yet though; mom put me down on my belly, left the room to get a drink, and when she came back I was on my back! I can't wait to show you.
We love you Goggy and are so glad you had a safe, successful and productive trip.
Love,
Anne Catherine
ps- thank you Pacak for taking such great care of us!
