We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary this weekend. I can't believe how fast time flies ... and how much has happened in seven years. Without getting too sentimental and cheesy, I would like to say that I can't imagine life without Benj - he is wonderful in every way, and makes life better, complete, and joyous. "Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be!"
Ella was my hair-stylist - she was really excited for us to go on a date, and wanted to blow-dry my hair for me. She did a great job, all by herself ...okay, I helped a little with the bangs.
We went to center and caught the first act of "The Bat" a comical operetta - it was in Ukrainian, so I didn't really get most (any) of the jokes, but it was fun to go and be together regardless.
Then we went to a "gourmet" Ukrainian dinner at Leopolis - the finest hotel in Ukraine - and recipient of the World Travel Award last October in Belek, Turkey. Food was good - they certainly tried on presentation.
Finally, we ended the evening with gelatos and a walk around town.
As always, the best part was being together, talking about what we've accomplished in the last seven years, setting goals for the next seven years, and we even made it home in time to tuck Ella and Anne into bed.
Thanks to Ally for being a great babysitter ... she even had cookies made for us when we came home! Now that is service!!!
