Ella titled this post.
Thanks, Jen, for emailing me the everyday pictures you take. They are amazing!

At Home

Earlier this month, we celebrated our 8 year anniversary .... 8 years of dating that is. We celebrated by going to dinner at Boulevard's, quite possibly the best meal I've ever had.

This is January in Millbrae ...
And some of the flowers around our house ...
The Camilla tree outside Ella's window:
Ella gets her ducks in a row for bath time, and Anne tries various shampoo Mohawks in the tub.

Purisma

It's a great hiking trail - right off the 35 that overlooks Half Moon Bay.
Isn't this world beautiful!

New Years

Last year we had dinner on the beach at Pacifica and watched the last sun set of 2007, so we thought we'd make it tradition and do it again this year. The only problem: it was so overcast there was no sunset. So, we went back the next evening and watched the first sunset of 2009 ... . A bit more picturesque, I would say.
Several months ago I was minding my own business, reversing in a parking lot, when out of nowhere a pole jumps out and kaboom ... the bumper gets a boo-boo. So for Christmas, my dad cashed in on a favor of a buddy in the auto-body business in AZ. Walla - good as new:)
A new car wasn't the only upgrade: Ella's kitchen went from good to great overnight!
Besides spending the evenings in Pacifica, we we went to Tiburon and took the ferry to Angel Island.

I love living here.

The Ritz-Carlton at Half Moon Bay

This is my happy place. It is great place to come, any time of year, to walk the coastline trail, explore the beach, or just sit and chill. We spent our second anniversary here, for my 26th birthday Benj sent me to the spa here and this is where we took our 2008 Christmas card picture. Since it was so windy, we went inside the gazebo for the family shot. Thanks Dru.
