Happy Mother's Day

Blessed to be a mother to these four incredible Little Women!
Thank you.
I love you each.

4 months

Sara Leonetta is four months old.
We love her more and more each day - if that's possible, since we feel like we love her to capacity already! She's rolled over, loves sucking her fingers, sleeps well, smiles often, and fills our home with joy.

We love our Baby Sara Lee Lee!

And of course, a picture of my helpers:)

Heritage Park

This IS the place. I love this SLC outing ...
the restored pioneer homes and village, the crafts, activities like panning for gold and riding the train,

animals (particularly this time of year with all the baby chicks, lambs, and goats - they each got plenty of love from us!),

and of course the pony rides.

VonGo Family and flowers

It's always a treat to get together with family. One of the neatest parts is seeing our kids interact - it's like they instinctively know and love playing with their cousins ... even if they are more distant.
Uncle Jerry hosted us for a fondue (or "fun-do") lunch.
We even got to meet new baby Eric (one week old), and enjoyed our time together: playing, eating, and spending time together. We're excited to do it again ... hopefully sooner rather than later.
My father and his sister Ella Carol:

On our way home we stopped off to see the tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point.

However, the line$ were a bit long, so we didn't stay too long.
But we did take lots of pictures with the flowers by the entrance.
"A few of our favorite things..." we now know what 'pussy-willow' is!

kindergarten program

Ella rocked her first school kindergarten program, she was poised and confident as she performed. Since shes's taught her sisters many of the songs the class performed, Anne and Mary had a blast singing right along too.

My "proud mama moment" however was not during the singing and performing ...
Another mom approached me and asked if I was Ella's mom.
She then explained that her kindergartner daughter has several medical issues and learning disabilities. She said Ella is always so kind to her daughter, includes her, helps her, and plays with her. She expressed her gratitude for Ella and I too felt grateful that Ella is such a kind, sensitive, and considerate girl. And she really is! She looks for people to help, who need to be included, the elderly, and less-able, and then she does whatever is needful. I love Ella.

It was so fun to have family support, even if Mary wasn't interested in being in a picture!
Speaking of kindergarten, Anne starts next year. We went to "round-up" and then had to get a few more shots (3!) before we could officially register. At the pediatricians Anne was so focused that she needed the shots so she could start school that she didn't even cry! Brave as a tiger!

Church History Museum

We took Packa Low Low to check out the LDS Church History museum.

He was thoroughly impressed with the displays.

And the girls loved playing in the children's area.
