Our first full-day at Disneyland began in California Adventure park.
Ella, Anne and Mom went on a favorite, Soarin' California, while Dad, Sara and Mary waited in the FP line for tickets for the Cars ride (Mom didn't go last time, since she was pregnant with Sara). Cars was awesome!
The whole Cars land is darling - just like the movie (which, embarrassingly our family has never seen), and the ride great - though I'm not sure it's worth the two-hour stand-by wait.The best part about the ride is how smooth it is - it's fast, but so enjoyable because it's such a smooth ride (unlike Matterhorn).
On the Mater Ride - it's sort of like Cars Land version of Tea Cups ...
The Grizzly River Run ride ... I think next time I'll bring ponchos or at least plastic bags to keep us dry! (no one likes walking around in wet socks).
We did Ariel's ride several times, and then Ella and Anne took a lesson on Goofy's Flight School with Benj.
At Disneyland we did Splash Mountain with the older girls while Mary got her fill of Pooh love and did the ride seven times in a row!
The Jungle Cruise (same jokes)...
Haunted Mansion (sort of creepy)...
Matterhorn - 4 times! (while the little ones waited oh so patiently)
And Tea Cups and Carousel again ... and again ... and again ...
